To provide an outstanding early childhood program through highly educated teachers, an appropriate curriculum, exposure to diverse cultures, parent involvement, fun and a lot of love.
Philosophy
We believe our success can be attributed to the high level of education of our teachers. Their credentials demonstrate their love and dedication to teaching.
We believe an appropriate preschool curriculum can better prepare students for Kindergarten and life. The Creative Curriculum by Learning Strategies, Inc. has been used in this preschool since the beginning because it is scientifically proven to improve cognitive and social/emotional competence in young children.
We believe an appreciation for all cultures in the world is fostered through exposure to different languages and cultural practices. The director's native language is Portuguese while many of the parents and teachers speak a variety of languages.
We believe building partnerships with parents and involving them in preschool activities, either in or out of the classroom, will improve the self-esteem of the child. Each student's family offers a unique and essential contribution to our success.
We believe fun is the key to inspiring children to become enthusiastic life-long learners who succeed in school and life. At Young Learner Preschool fun is an important part of each lesson plan.
We believe the future of our world depends on our ability to nurture in every child the love for others, caring for our planet, and an appreciation for the various cultures of the world.
