Youth & Children’s Ministry
Our goal is to reach the “unreachable.” As a group, we want to reach teenagers and young adults that “the world” would consider to be “unreachable.” This definitely is not an easy task, but we trust God with our whole heart and lean not to our own understanding; in all our ways we acknowledge him, and he directs our paths. (Proverbs 3:5).
God has given Youth on Fire a unique way of reaching teenagers and young adults. We have a very specific motto: “Catch the fish before you clean it.” In order to do so, we have to allow the Holy Ghost to give us different ways and methods to CATCH the youth's attention. After the attention has been gained, we then begin the CLEAN sing process with the purification of God's word. We step out of our comfort zones and go out into all the world and minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Mark 16:15). When it comes to winning souls for the kingdom, we will do whatever it takes, whether it's having a youth explosion, swimming party, or teen talk. It may even consist of having a Christian party, or even using slang words to simplify God's message. There are absolutely no limits to winning souls for the kingdom of God!
Youth on Fire is a radical group of youth between the ages of 13 and 25 years old. We are accepting people of all color, shapes, sizes, races, and nationalities every day. Our aim is to always show young people that they too can have fun in serving a true, loving, and living God!
Soldier 4 Christ: Christian 4 Life Children's Ministry
Our Goal:
To instill faith in children at an early age, equipping them to go out as spiritual giants for the kingdom of God.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Our Sunday Schedule:
9:30 A.M. and 11:00 A.M.
Infant and child care are provided for newborns through age five for the 9:30 A.M. service.
Children's Ministry (Pre-K, 4 years old through 4th grade) meets at 11:00 A.M. The children meet in the sanctuary to participate in a complete praise and worship service experience presented in a variety of media including songs, dramatic readings, and interactive storytelling.
On third Sundays, the children have the opportunity to serve as ushers, greeters, announcers, readers, dancers, actors, singers, rappers, prayer leaders, sound room technicians, and altar helpers.
Soldier 4 Christ (Pre-K, 4 years old through 4th grade) begins at 11:30 A.M. in age-appropriate, small-group rooms. During this time, Bible lessons are addressed and the children's teaching is reviewed and reinforced on an extended level through discussion, games, crafts, and various other interactive events. The session is concluded by individual or group word or study or playtime interaction.
Christian 4 Life (Grades 5th – 7th) meets at 12:00 P.M. and is structured around Bible study, praise and worship traditions, ABC Bible scriptures, books of the Bible, and activity planning. Pre-teens sometimes attend adult worship as a group for communion and on the third Sunday when the sermon topic is appropriate for their studies.
Outside events such as softball games (vs. R.I.C.H. Men for Christ), field trips, Fourth of July picnic, and Labor Day picnic (which we call Joy Day) as well as movies are planned each year.
The staff and volunteers of our children and youth ministries have always been a dedicated team of enthusiastic teachers and workers who have a passion for presenting our younger worshipers with exciting Christian education. They blend their skills to provide creative and stimulating Sunday morning worship experiences.
Our Curriculum (A Beka)
Our lessons, games, and songs center on learning Bible stories. Our children are reminded weekly that this love is from God and is a love of inclusion as well as liberation of all through the hope that is modeled best through Jesus in His works and saving lives.
