I am a native of Portsmouth, VA, but I chose to make Augusta my home after attending Graduate school at The Medical College of GA. I fell in love with the vibrant and supportive community here, and I have made it my mission to create the kind of medical practice that, as a woman and mother first, I would seek.
I truly believe the adage “It takes a village…” As a daughter, sister, mother and wife, I understand the difficulty in finding the right physician to meet your needs. As your physician, it is not only my duty to care for your physical well-being, but I believe providing you with wellness services designed to empower you in your health journey is equally important.
I am board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with more than 18 years experience in the science and health care fields. My educational background includes completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology, a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and a Doctor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine.
