Douglas C. Gomber, CPCU, CRM, CIC - Commercial Lines and Sales Manager

Doug started his insurance career in 1977 and has been with Walker Insurance since June of 2003. He is responsible for the commercial lines part of the office and also manages the sales staff. He worked for large agencies, insurance companies and even as a marketing manager for a third party administrator. He had even worked as a radio personality in his younger days. He is a major producer for the agency, and enjoys spending his time developing sound solutions for his clients. Doug is a graduate of Florida Southern College and has earned numerous degrees and certificates during his insurance career. He shares a unique bond with Owner, Jody Walker, where they both served as President of the Orlando Jaycees organization. When not fully engaged in the operations of Walker Insurance, Doug enjoys golf, racquetball, music and trivia. He is a rabid sports fan, following his Ohio State Buckeyes, Green Bay Packers, New York Yankees and Orlando Magic.
Susan J. Roy, ACSR - Personal Lines Manager

Susan was the first employee hired by Walker Insurance and Financial Services, Inc when it was founded on January 1, 1988. Her career began in Lake Placid, NY in 1984 and when her family relocated to Florida in 1986 they formed a relationship with the Walker family. Susan truly enjoys the long-term relationship she has with her clients. She takes pride in the fact that the personal lines department repeatedly holds an outstanding retention rate and continues to service many of the same clients over the past 20 years. Susan and her husband are extremely proud of their 2 daughters, both graduates of the University of Central Florida and successful members of the business community. Her fondness and love for her four young grandchildren are proudly displayed with many photos at her desk to share with her co-workers and clients.
Erica L. Bereczki - Life and Health Account Executive

Erica joined Walker Insurance in November of 2007 to enhance and manage the Life and Health Insurance division. Her insurance experience began almost 10 years ago, managing surgical and private practices, where she initiated provider relationships, processed claims, and worked one on one with patients to help them understand their coverage. Over 3 years ago, she moved over to the ‘other side’ of insurance, where she now helps individuals and employers alike obtain affordable coverage. She is currently working toward her C.E.B.S. designation as well as her Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
Her greatest career accomplishment is actually her present position. She loves being able to take a client through each stage of analyzing and implementing their employee benefit program, while increasing their employee incentives and staying within their budget, no matter how large or small. When she is not working with clients, she loves spending time with her husband as they raise their baby girl and watch the Denver Broncos try to make their way to another Championship.
Deborah J. Hall, CIC, CRM, CRIS - Commercial Agent

Deborah started her career in insurance in 1995 with Johnson & Higgins, a large, privately- held insurance brokerage firm. Here she learned large account management utilizing a combination of insurance and risk management services. During her tenure, Deborah also assisted in the development and administration of controlled insurance programs (Wrap-Ups).
Industry changes gave Deborah the opportunity to pursue new directions, and she established her own firm which provided outsourced risk management services. This lead to a permanent position with one of Florida’s largest, independent insurance agencies.
Deborah has been with Walker Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. since June of 2004. Her initial objectives were to revamp as well as supervise the Commercial Lines Department. Since the middle of 2005, Deborah has focused on generating new business opportunities.
Continuing industry education is one of Deborah’s on-going objectives. She has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations since receiving her 220 insurance licenses. She is currently pursuing the Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) designation.
Deborah was raised in New Jersey but has lived in Central Florida since 1981. Her two girls, Jessica and Jamie, still live at home and attend Seminole Community College.
Sandra Koffinas, ACSR - Commercial Lines Agent

Her extensive experience began 30 years ago in Germany, working for Geico Insurance and Financial Services as they grew to become the regional office for that area. She is fully licensed (2-20 & 2-18) and achieved the designation of ACSR. In February 2008 the FAIA will be offering a degree program for the Insurance industry, which Sandy will be actively pursing. Sandy is passionate about her job as a producer for the commercial lines department. Her experience extended into personal lines of coverage as well, as an added benefit to her clients. Her most memorable career achievement was recently being able to save a large Condominium Master Association $180,000 in premiums. This is the type of commitment and service you can expect from Sandy. Sandy spends most of her free time with the great loves of her life; her 3 sons, grandchildren and wonderful daughters in law. Sandy also enjoys arranging floral and wedding bouquets and hopes to be able to return to Europe for a visit in the near future.
Dorothy Leavitt – Agent

Dorothy started her insurance career with Corron & Black, a large international brokerage, which became Willis Corroon after a merger with Willis Faber. During her 9 years, Dorothy worked primarily on large commercial accounts. Dorothy has rounded out her career by obtaining experience in all phases of insurance including commercial, personal, life, and health, excess and surplus lines. With knowledge in all areas of insurance, including customer service, underwriting and production, she is able to direct her commercial business clients in fulfilling their insurance needs and exposure while finding solutions for their individual business programs. Outside of Walker Insurance, Dorothy enjoys spending time with friends and family.
