Meet Dr. Andrea Torsone
Dr. Torsone is a Board-Certified Gynecologist with the American Board of OBGYN. She received her undergraduate and medical degree at University at Buffalo in New York. Dr. Torsone then completed her OBGYN residency training at University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill. She then moved to Raleigh and she has been in private OBGYN practice since 2001. In 2004, she started her own practice, Carolina Gynecology PA. Her special interests include menopausal medicine, adolescent care, and hysteroscopic surgery.
Dr. Torsone and her husband, Dr. Peter Ercolino, their son and two daughters currently reside in Raleigh, NC. Her favorite things to do include reading, travel, playing the piano, exercising, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Meet Dr. Nicole Kerner
Dr. Kerner is a Board Certified Gynecologist with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her undergraduate and medical degree at the University of Buffalo, and then completed residency at Abington Memorial Hospital, in Abington, PA where she received an award for special excellence in laparoscopy. Since residency, Dr. Kerner has had teaching appointments at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY where she was awarded "Outstanding Attending of the Year" and Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. Most recently Dr. Kerner had a clinical teaching position at Brown University/Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, RI where she was awarded "Top Full Time Faculty of the Year". Dr. Kerner has special interest in minimally invasive surgery including diagnostic and advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries. She also enjoys adolescent and menopausal counseling. Dr. Kerner and her husband, Dr. Paul Kerner have recently relocated to Raleigh with their 3 children. Outside of work, Dr. Kerner enjoys running, reading, and family time.
