Sleep-Disordered Breathing
Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) is recognized as a serious health problem that affects about 43 million US adults; however, more than 80% remain undiagnosed and untreated. SDB is especially important when evaluating patients who suffer from hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and heart failure. Clinical evidence has shown that SDB affects 35-77% of these patient populations.
