Welcome to Tiny Tots Learning Centers
Our mission is to facilitate the development of a positive self-concept, respect for a child's cultural background, and to provide experiences designed to allow each child to develop the skills needed for success in life.
Our program is designed to facilitate each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. We believe that these goals will be achieved best in partnership with parents, and with positive communication among staff, children, and their parents.
Tiny Tots provides childcare for infant through school age children in the Lake Worth/Palm Springs area. We provide a high quality, highly accredited, low teacher-to-child ratio environment where children can develop the skills necessary for their futures. Tiny Tots offers programs for six months through afterschool. We also offer a summer camp program, which offers excursions to museums, parks, movies, ice skating, water play and many more fun-filled activities.
Tiny Tots strives to provide high quality, developmentally appropriate care to a diverse cultural and economic population of both private and publicly funded customers. The primary commitment of the professional staff of Tiny Tots is to provide high quality childcare in a safe, healthy, happy, and stimulating learning environment.
Our center is enrolled in a quality initiative sponsored by the Palm Beach County Children's Services Council. The goal of this project is foster continuous improvement in childcare services to insure that children are 'ready to learn' when they reach elementary school. The project will also pilot programs developed by the Palm Beach County School Readiness Coalition, of which Mr. Grohmann, Tiny Tot's first president, was a founding board member.
We have piloted several exciting programs for the coalition:
- The use of a High Scope approach to curriculum, which involves the use of active learning principles and presenting each child with "key" learning experiences, based upon research in child development.
- The use of "comprehensive services teams" to assist families across a whole range of needs affecting the well being of their children.
- The adoption of several developmental screening tools to insure that each child's development is carefully monitored so that the child's strengths and weaknesses can be addressed in our daily activities.
Tiny Tots will continue to participate in projects such as those described above, and our goal in everything that we do is that each child develops to his or her maximum potential.
