Frequently Asked Questions
1) Why do my speakers make a popping sound when they are turned up loud?
This for most part means that your speakers are not able to produce the bass that you are demanding of them. A couple of solutions are to turn down your volume, turn down the bass control, or add a high pass crossover.
2) What does it mean if my radio is on, but I have no sound?
This commonly means that your system has an amplifier in it that is not turning on.
3) What does it mean if only one speaker in a pair stop working or if both speakers stop working?
If one speaker is not working, check your radio’s balance control to see if it’s in the middle. If an entire pair stops working, make sure your radio’s fader control is in the middle.
4) How often should I replace the battery in my transmitter?
For the best range, your transmitter batteries should be replaced four times a year.
5) What is the range on my car alarm?
Range varies anywhere from 20 ft to over 200 ft depending on the vehicle, conditions, and battery strength. FM units can reach as much as 1 mile. |
