Alzheimer's Care
The Cove at Summit Place
Forget me not, for I am worth remembering...
Alzheimer’s disease is an illness of the brain. It causes the brain to lose nerve cells, leading to problems with memory, thinking, feeling, and everyday living. It is the most common form of dementia and has no known cause.
Making the decision to move someone you love into a special care community can be a difficult and stressful time. At Summit Place of Anderson, we do our best to assist and educate family members on new programs, as well as keeping the lines of communication open between staff and families.
Our Memory Care associates are kind, friendly people, trained to care for residents with memory impairments. We teach our staff the best way to assess and care for each resident.
We have specialized programs that are tailored to incorporate each resident’s life experiences and desires. This enhances the resident’s sense of comfort and well-being. Activities incorporate life skills, which help daily function and stimulate the mind.
Summit Place of Anderson has been designed to be safe and comfortable, simple yet elegant. Our open floor plan helps to minimize confusion and allows residents a safe, yet large area in which to live. High ceilings and comfortable sitting areas create a warm and friendly environment throughout the community.
There is hope… at Summit Place of Anderson.
