Steppi Roofing Inc. is owned and operated by Albert J. Steppi, installing roofs in Florida since 1980, state licensed and in business since 1984 and a state-certified roofing contractor since 1986. Located in the same location in Orlando for more thaan 25 years, first dba Albert J. Steppi Roofing and incorporating in 1996 and dba as Steppi Roofing Inc., Albert has been in business, at the same location, with many of the same key employees for the majority of 25 years due the quality workmanship and service, which has been provided.
In today's cyberspace era, every company in every trade is a self-proclaimed professional in the highest standard of quality. When it comes down to it, though a company will only be as good as its team of employees. The most important employee would have to be the one who oversees all operations. At Steppi Roofing Inc., that person has always been and will continue to be Albert J Steppi, not only the owner, the CEO but also the general manager of all operations, which especially includes the installations of all roofing and waterproofing. The first 20 years in business, Albert was fortunate to have Mr. Oliver " Pat Woof' Woofenden at his side. A former co-employee, a former roofing contractor as was his father and a wonderful teacher. Pat passed away in 2004. He and his ways will never be forgotten. Albert's wife, Mary (corporate secretary), is the office manager and the owner of the voice you will usually here on the telephone. Employees that are directly under Mr. Steppi include Richard C. Smith (sales), Richard M. Smith (production supervisor), Mick Barnes (sheet metal manager) who have been employees for 25-plus years each, and Vernon Howard (repairs) who has been an employee for the most part of 20 years. To achieve quality workmanship and service, a company needs a core of quality people who not only know the safest and most functional methods of installation but also who are present to witness the process, and that is how quality is achieved and maintained at Steppi Roofing Inc.
A quality roof installation's value starts with the design of the roof. Every roof bid at Steppi Roofing Inc. is reviewed by Albert; quality will not be sacrificed. In poor economic times, consumers search for the best value for their dollar and for many businesses, the bottom line is the most important part of a proposal. Price most be considered, however, quality cannot be forgotten. The value of a roof should be measured by its longevity, need for maintenance and ability to protect the value of the building it covers. A leaky roof can be a costly nightmare; mold remediation, occupant's health concerns, damaged property with unexpected repairs, a shortened life with the unexpected cost of a new roof, and of course, a property-sale hindrance if not corrected.
