Plastic surgery involves a wide variety of procedures to reshape parts of the body for many reasons. Let Dr. Steinmetz and his professional staff be there to guide you through every step you take. We work with patients long before a procedure is scheduled so that you have a clear understanding of how the surgery will look and feel, and to ensure that results meet expectations. When you visit with us, we will need you to provide:

  • Previous surgical experience
  • Past and present medical conditions
  • Medications you are taking, including herbal remedies or nutritional supplements
  • The results of any tests you may have had related to desired procedure
  • A complete medical history including family medical history
  • List of allergies if you  have any

When you enter our consultation room:

  • You will watch a short film where applicable.
  • You will receive a consent form to the related procedure outlining risks involved.
  • Photos will be taken.
  • Dr. Steinmetz will listen to your desires for change.
  • Dr. Steinmetz will verbally go over all facets of the proposed procedure.
  • Dr. Steinmetz will physically examine you and listen to your questions then give you his thoughts on expected outcome as it is related to the procedure and your body.
