Southern Plumbing, Inc. is owned by Craig and Cindy Mobley. Craig has been in the plumbing industry for some 30 years and worked with the very well-known Maxwell Plumbing just out of the Army. Along the way, he continued to work and study his craft, eventually obtaining a Masters Plumbing License to increase his competitive edge. Craig has also been co-owner with several other plumbing businesses that have been nationwide companies prior to founding Southern Plumbing, Inc. A native of the Vero Beach area, it was a natural progression of Craig's career to start his own company.
Founded in 1999, Craig's partner in Southern Plumbing, Inc. is his talented wife Cindy. With the knowledge of the business and her experience in bookkeeping, the two make an excellent team. Where Craig handles the technical and management side, Cindy handles the financial and administrative side.
In the beginning, Southern Plumbing, Inc. was just operating in the service business and had intended to only hire a few employees but the demand for plumbers was so strong that the business took on a life of its own. As the residential real estate market began to take off, so did the construction industry and Southern Plumbing, Inc. found its way into the new construction and remodeling end of the business.
By 2002, we were already one of the top three largest plumbing contractors in Vero Beach. By 2004, construction of our new office and warehouse building was well under way. The highlight of our new building was a fully functional showroom, the only one of its kind in the entire state of Florida. Now with over 35 employees and a new facility, Southern Plumbing, Inc. is well prepared for continued growth and success.
Our customers describe us as a big, small business. We have grown a successful operation but have maintained a small-town feel to how we do business. Customer service is of utmost importance to us. Craig, Cindy, and every member of our staff believes in providing a quality job at a fair price and we stand behind our work.
As Cindy puts it, "It starts with a friendly person who answers the phone, a follow through with a phone call kept, and honest price, and keeping your word."
We are not looking to just sell our product or service but to build a long-term relationship with contractors and customers. Our management team is one of our greatest strengths. Each manager has over 15 years experience in the plumbing industry and our crew is made of experienced plumbers.
