Born in Great Falls, Montana, in 1953, Dr. William “Bill” Chapel Jr. has had a history of chiropractic in his family since birth. His father, Dr. William Chapel Sr., was in private practice as a chiropractor in Great Falls since 1949. Having grown up in a natural holistic environment, Dr. Bill Jr. has been exposed to alternative healing his entire life.

Dr. Bill Jr.’s father was involved in chiropractic research as Executive Vice President of the Parker Chiropractic Research Foundation in Forth Worth, Texas for 14 years. This experience linked with his very close personal relationship with his father, was Dr. Bill Jr.’s inspiration to carry on a family legacy devoted to natural approaches to wellness.

In May of 1977, Dr. Bill Jr. started his practice in Algiers, Louisiana on the West Bank of New Orleans, joining his father who had once again been drawn into service to practice his gift of the latest chiropractic techniques and procedures. After 3 years of practice and training with his father, Dr. Bill Jr. started the Slidell Chiropractic Clinic in 1980 and has been in full time practice in Slidell at this same location since then.

As a continuum of family heritage, Dr. Bill’s son Brett  graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in December of 2005 and joined his father practicing with him in Slidell. As a team devoted to top notch delivery of the latest in chiropractic development and technology, Drs. Bill and Brett Chapel plan to deliver the “Chapel chiropractic knowledge” in service to the needs of all their patients in the years to come.
