MOLD CONTROL
SERVPRO® recognizes the seriousness of mold and its potentially harmful effects that are among us today. Knowing that water damages, if not handled properly, could lead to a mold situation, SERVPRO® has dedicated time to thoroughly researching the issues and challenges related to the subject of mold. Health concerns may arise when excessive mold has grown indoors. Concerns are more likely to arise when "At Risk" individuals are exposed to mold growth. "At Risk" people can include immune suppressed or compromised individuals, young children, and individuals with chronic inflammatory lung diseases such as asthma and severe allergies. Some types of mold may cause a runny nose, eye irritation, cough, congestion, and aggravation of asthma, headache, or fatigue. In some situations, there may be more serious health concerns.
In the event that our SERVPRO® technician identifies extensive mold growth, additional assistance may be required. Your on-site technician may not be able to proceed with mold mitigation services in all instances. Some situations require the services of an Indoor Air Quality/Industrial Hygienist professional and specialized equipment. Services may be required to assess and/or repair your property. You may wish to consult your adjuster about obtaining the services of an Indoor Air Quality/Industrial Hygienist professional to provide assistance.
Mold Remediation
Evaluation and Testing
We use third party Certified Industrial Hygienist's for testing and preparation of remediation protocols. There is no change of conflict of interest. Complete customer satisfaction is our only goal.
Emergency Services
We provide containment of mold spore sources to prevent contamination of unaffected areas while testing is being done and a remediation plan is being developed.
Structural Remediation
We will remove, dispose of, and replace or clean contaminated structural materials as directed by the Certified Industrial Hygienist.
Contents Remediation
We will inventory and restore or dispose of contaminated personal property as directed. Contents storage is available.
