Breast and body reshaping truly blends art and science. A multitude of different procedures are available, depending on each person's situation and condition and their goals and desires. Whatever the procedure, the goal should be the same: the most natural, believable, aesthetic result possible with minimal tel-tale signs - something that does not shout "Surgery!"

Oftentimes, ultrasonic-assisted liposuction (UAL) can produce some amazing results because of the ability to mold the skin and tissues post-operatively and have them heal that way. The ultrasound waves produce heat energy and cause the fat cells to literally explode and melt, causing an injury beneath the skin that, as it heals, actually can cause the skin to contract and tighten. (see Figures 1 & 2 below).

Other situations require removal of skin and fat, but hiding the scars in easily concealed places, no matter how small the clothing, is critical to patient acceptance. Lifts and tucks of sagging arms, breats, tummies, backs, buttocks and thighs can all be performed with very minimal, or at least 'able-to-be-covered-scars' in most candidates. Dr. Schreiber has extensive experience with all forms of lifts from a large patient population of morbidly obese people who have undergone gastric bypass surgery and have lost anywhere from 100 to 280 pounds (see Figures 3 & 4 below).

Another of Dr. Schreiber's specialties is breast lifting and reduction with scars located just around the areola, or around the areola and vertically down to the fold without any horizontal scars underneath the breast. This technique, which is referred to as the vertical scar technique, was developed and perfected in France and Israel, and creates a more rounded breast that holds it's shape longer with a smaller scar.
