Office Recycling Programs

What can my office recycle?

If you have an office paper recycling program (paper collected in buggies), you may recycle the following items:

White or colored ledger paper, stationary, computer print out paper, copy or laser paper, fax paper, note pads, sticky notes, legal paper, carbonless paper, envelopes.  It's OK to leave staples and paper clips in the mix.

The following items are NOT acceptable in office mixed paper:

Newspaper, magazines, telephone books, glue bound books, shiny colored or coated paper, Tyvek envelopes, file folders, ream wrap, cardboard, boxboard, carbon paper, rubber bands, photos, food waste, waxed paper, brown unbleachable paper, transparencies, blueprints.




Fees

What are SBC's current pickup and trash fees?

As of July 1, 2008 SBC's fees are as follows:

   Trip Charge: $21.50 per pickup

   Trash Backcharge Fee:  $120 per ton
