FRANK G. BOLMEYER JR.
Frank has overseen the personal injury practice at our firm for more than 25 years. He specializes in personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death matters.
Throughout his career, Frank has been a champion for victims rights, obtaining substantial verdicts and settlements for his clients throughout Northeast Ohio. He is past president of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys and is active in state and national trial lawyers associations.
Born in Cleveland, Frank studied at Xavier University and received his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University and his law degree from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1981. While at Marshall, Frank received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellent achievement in both Civil and Constitutional Law. He has received the highest rating from his peers for ethics and legal ability.
Frank lives in North Royalton with his wife, Mary, and 4 daughters where he is active in St. Albert the Great Parish.
ALBERT C. SAMMON
Al has headed up the workers’ compensation and Social Security practices at our firm for more than two decades.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Xavier University, and his law degree in 1984 from Cleveland Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University.
Al is an active member of the Ohio State and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He is active in various other legal organizations, including the Cleveland Association of Compensation Attorneys, the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Ohio Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice.
He is admitted to practice before the Ohio and Federal Courts.
Al’s varied experience includes 3 years as prosecuting attorney with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s office, where he handed felony trials. His extensive trial experience is an invaluable part of his current expertise in representing our clients' interests.
Areas of practice are workers’ compensation, Social Security, Personal Injury, Small Business Law and Criminal Defense.
DAVID J. BRIGGS
David graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (accounting major) in 1978. He then attended Cleveland State University’s Cleveland Marshall College of Law, receiving a law degree in 1981. Upon graduation, David was hired by the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor, where he rose among the ranks to become assigned to the Major Trial Division, whose responsibility it was to prosecute the serious crimes of rape and homicide. David spent 6 ½ years as a prosecutor and has been in charge of our probate practice for more than 20 years.
The primary focus of David’s work is representing injured workers’ before the Industrial Commission of Ohio; probate matters which he handles with compassion and understanding, including probating estates, establishing guardianships, drafting Wills, Living Wills and Powers of Attorney; and arguing Social Security disability cases. In addition, he engages in criminal defense work, appearing in Common Pleas courts (for felony offenses) and Municipal Courts (for misdemeanor offenses).
David was also appointed Master Commission in Federal Court to supervise foreclosure cases in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Cleveland Marshall College of Law Alumni Association.
