FAQ
- Do I need to be there when the sales representative is giving an estimate?
- It would be important for you to be present at the time that your sales representative is giving an estimate so they can evaluate the landscaping concerns, access to your property, types of equipment allowed and various methods of taking down and removing trees.
- How soon can you do my job?
- After making the initial call or completing our online form to get an estimate, it usually takes 2 to 3 days to make the appointment and get an estimate. If you decided to use Ryan Tree Service Inc., you can sign, date and fax us back the green estimate sheet. We will usually be able to have your job done within one week, depending on weather conditions and what our schedule already looks like.
- How deep will my stumps be ground?
- Normally the stumps will be ground 6"-8" below ground level; there will be additional charges for grinding surface roots in surrounding area. There will be a mulch pile after your stump is ground. Mulch is good to use as ground cover.
- How much does it cost to remove a tree?
- The cost of removing a tree depends on the location, size and how dangerous the tree may be. Another cost factor would be landscaping considerations such as sod, shrubs, ornamental trees and grandma's favorite flowers. Ryan Tree Service Inc. offers multi-tree discounts!
- When is the best time for trimming?
- The best time to trim your trees is between November and February.
- Do you recycle your tree waste?
- All of the logs are recycled for building homes, making pallets, and biofuels. Our woodchips are recycled for use in landscaping materials.
- How can I get free woodchips?
- You can get woodchips by calling our office at 770-458-0957 or filling out our online form and letting us know where you would like them dumped. When our crews are in your area, we will give you a call and let you know that we are in your area and confirm that you would like us to come by and dump them off.
