FAQ

Q:   What is the rug cleaning process?
A:   We really do “wash” the rugs in a pit.  We then hang them and use drying equipment to speed up the drying process.

Q:   How long does it take to get my rug back to me after cleaning?
A:   Our turnaround time is normally 10 days to two weeks, but we will work with you if the need arises for a quicker time.

Q:   Are all rugs washed together or are they washed separately?
A:   Each rug is washed separately and clean water is used for each rug.

Q:  How do you dry the rugs?
A:  We use blowers and dehumidifiers in a drying chamber to dry each rug.

Q:  Does The Rug Wash guarantee to get the odor out of my rug?
A:   Yes.

Q:   Does The Rug Wash guarantee to get the stains out of my rug?
A:   No.  Stains are often permanent.  However, we are often successful at removing many spots and rugs will be brighter and will smell great.

Q:   What type of rugs do you clean?
A:   We clean all types of rugs, including Persian rugs, oriental rugs, wool rugs, dhurries, sea grass rugs, sisal rugs, silk rugs, Karastan rugs and cotton rugs.

Q:   Do you repair rugs?
A:   We do some repairs on rugs and have a resource for the others that we cannot repair.

Q:   Do you clean pads and do you sell them?
A:   We can clean your pads and we do sell Opti-mat pads.
