About Dr. Parks
Dr. R. Devon Parks, Jr., DMD, is a native of Charleston, South Carolina. In 1971, Dr. Parks received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina. In 1975, he graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina Dental School with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Parks also completed a two-year general practice residency in the U.S. Army in Monterey, California in 1983 with advanced training in all specialties of dentistry. In 2005, Dr. Parks completed a one-year "mini" residency in Implantology from the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Parks continually remains current in all the latest technology available in dentistry. Dr. Parks is a proud member of ADA, SCDA and the Charleston Dental Society. Dr. Parks is married, with two children currently living at home, and is a proud member of Old Fort Baptist Church.
