When we brought our daughter to Recovery Works, we had no idea what to expect.  My daughter was addicted to a pain killer called oxycontin and had put traumatic issues on her family the last 6 months.  I had no idea where to turn and then I called Recovery Works.  From admission to discharge, we felt as if we were part of the facility.  We were in constant communication and since there was only 16 other clients in the facility, we felt as if everyone was family.

My daughter was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and was given medication to treat the disorder while there.  The doctors and nurses were excellent and the therapist would take time out of their day to answer questions or just give an ear when needed.  The facility is so much like home that we never felt like we were in an institution and this was important to my daughter who wasn't for sure she wanted treatment.  She liked the fact that the facility is unlocked and she could get fresh air whenever she wanted.  We went and met her and the other clients for Karaoke on Saturday nights and even went to the campfire AA meeting on Saturday.  Even though I would not want anyone to go thru the struggles that addiction played on our family, having a facility like Recovery Works around, not only saves the person fighting the addiction but saves the entire family.  Thank you and God bless all of you at Recovery Works.

Thank you with all my heart,

Loving mother
