Breast Augmentation

BREAST AUGMENTATION

Several variations of the procedure exist, but all consist of making a small incision in the skin (in one of three locations) and placing a specially designed implant under the breast tissue or muscle. The implants are usually placed in two main categories: those filled with either saline or silicone, a gel-like substance. These implants have either a smooth or textured surface and are either round or oval in shape. A personal consultation with your surgeon will help determine which of the above variations are right for you.

MASTOPLEXY (BREAST LIFT)

If you feel you have lost the youthful shape and firmness of your breasts, a breast lift is right for you! By making carefully placed incisions, the surgeon is able to remove excess skin, reshape the breast, and move the nipple to a higher, and more aesthetic, position. Several variations of this procedure exist and your surgeon will decide which technique is best for you, depending on your breast shape, fullness, and the desired result.

Breast Reduction

BREAST REDUCTION

A woman's displeasure with her breast size is not always about aesthetics. Some women not only feel their breasts are too large but also have discomfort and physical complications because of their overly large breasts. Breast reduction surgery transforms heavy pendulous breasts into smaller and lighter version. This transformation can also mean the end to chest, shoulder, and neck pain, skin irritations deep bra strap indentations and extreme self-consciousness that afflict overly large breasted women and girls.

BREAST RECONSTRUCTION

Breast reconstruction procedures can be very emotionally uplifting for the breast cancer survivor. Several different techniques are available that can be used to recreate the breast, each having its own benefits, and most requiring multiple stages. Which technique is best for you will depend on an in-depth consultation with your surgeon, taking into account your desires, expectations, and personal situation. Ultimately, the decision to embark on breast reconstruction is a very personal choice, but for thousands of breast cancer survivors, it was the right choice. We hope that we can be a part of your recovery!
