Dr. Marcos R. Ortega joined the practice in 2002. Dr. Marcos Ortega is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His professional experience includes all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including management of skin cancers, congenital defects, hand surgery and cosmetic procedures. He is a graduate of Pensacola Christian High School and attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for undergraduate studies. He earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his general surgery training at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Dr. Marcos Ortega did his plastic surgery training at Southern Illinois University at the Institute for Plastic Surgery in Springfield. Dr. Marcos Ortega has privileges at Sacred Heart Health System.
