OUR OFFICE

Registration

We request basic information for our administrative records, and provide you with an overview of the consultation process. There is no cost to you for this service. All we ask is that you take the time to review the material prepared for you. Please stop at the reception's desk as you depart.

Surgeon Conference

The doctor will talk with you about your wishes and desires. He will examine you and give you his opinion about how to achieve your goals. We believe you need to be well-informed about the actual process of preparing for, and recovering from, cosmetic, or reconstructive surgery.

Choosing a surgeon is an intensely personal decision. We encourage you to take time to ask the doctor and his staff any questions you may have. We believe the formation of a personal bond is an integral part of the surgery and healing process.

Education

You may choose to look at a video prepared by the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASPRS) about the procedure(s) you are contemplating. The ASPRS has also prepared brochures that you may read and/or take home. Many of our staff have had cosmetic surgery and you may talk to them about their experience and feelings about their results.

Cost/Timing

When you briefly meet with the Scheduling Coordinator, she will discuss fees and costs. If you have a specific date in mind, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. If you are still in the information gathering phase, she will make sure all of your questions are answered.

Anesthesia

If you would like a consultation with one of our Board-Certified Anesthesiologists, please ask the Scheduling Coordinator. In any case, prior to surgery you will have an opportunity to discuss your wishes with your Anesthesiologist.

Follow-Up

Your consultation includes a second visit, if you have further questions for the physician or any member of our staff.

Certification

We have applied for certification by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF).
