The Center for Natural Breast Reconstruction was established in 2004. Led by specially trained surgeon Dr. James Craigie, The Center for Natural Breast Reconstruction utilizes microsurgery to offer women who've had a mastectomy a superior option for breast reconstruction.
Dr. Craigie along with Dr. Richard M. Kline and the entire medical team at The Center for Natural Breast Reconstruction are dedicated to remaining at the forefront of surgical techniques, providing excellent care and results for each patient.
Co-directors Dr. Richard M. Kline and Dr. James E. Craigie are certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. Both surgeons have trained under Dr. Robert J. Allen, the pioneer of breast reconstruction with the DIEP, SIEA, GAP and TUG flaps. Dr. Craigie completed a microsurgical breast reconstruction fellowship dedicated to muscle sparing techniques which was directed by Dr. Allen.
Because of this commitment, the practice consistently earns referrals from our patients, as well as from other surgeons throughout the state.

Appointments can be made by calling 843-388-0660 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
INSURANCE
We accept most major insurance plans. We will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. However, if you have not met your deductible or your services are not covered by insurance, please pay for your services upon completion of your visit.
EMERGENCIES
Our telephones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have an emergency during office hours, we will be happy to let you speak with our nurse, contact the doctor if needed, or make you an appointment to be seen that day. If your emergency is after office hours, please call our office and the answering service will contact the doctor and have him return your call.
