When a diagnosis of cancer is obtained, we have already assembled a team of highly trained professionals .  Newly diagnosed patients are discussed at the weekly Charleston Breast Center multidisciplinary tumor board attended by surgical and medical oncologists, radiation therapists, pathologists, a breast radiologist and plastic surgeons.  This team approach incorporates the most current state of the art information to individualize each patient’s treatment.
