Audrie M. Celley, 94, of Givens Estates died Friday, December 26, 2008.  A native of Glen Ellyn, IL, she was daughter of the late Rev. Aubrey S. and Mary Wheldon Moore.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Hubert R. Celley. 

     A graduate of De Pauw University, she earned her masters from N.W. University.  Mrs. Celley was an avid volunteer at Central United Methodist Church where she had been a member since 1958 as well as Memorial Mission Hospital and the Smith-McDowell House.  She was a member of A.A.U.W., the P.E.O. Sisterhood and Delta Kappa Gamma

     Surviving are two sons: Richard Celley of Virginia Beach, VA, and David Celley of Los Angeles, CA;  two daughters: Georgia Woods of Santa Rosa, CA, and Evelyn Kanter of Pearisburg, VA; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

     A memorial service will be held 11:00AM, Monday, December 29, 2008, in the Memorial Chapel at Givens Estates with The Rev. Joe Fulk officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service.  Interment will be private.
