MYRNA SHUSTER



     Myrna Shuster, 69, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 23rd, 2008 at the Memorial Campus of Missions Hospital.  She was daughter of the late Ted and Anne Silver of West Lafayette, Indiana.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Charna Zussman. 

 

     Myrna was born and grew up in West Lafayette, where she was affectionately known as “Cookie.”  She spent most of her life in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was an active member of the Temple Sinai congregation. She worked as a teacher and travel agent, specializing in inter-religious tours of Israel.

 

     She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her son, Todd Shuster and his wife, Elyse of Burlington, Massachusetts; her daughter, Lauren Kazlow and her husband, Gary; and her granddaughters, Sarah, Abby, and Anna Shuster and Arielle Kazlow.

 

     A funeral service will be held 10:00AM, Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Congregation Beth Ha Tephila in Asheville with Rabbi Batsheva Meiri officiating.  The burial service will be held 2:00PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Temple Israel in West Lafayette.

 

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Myrna to the charity of your choosing.
