Estelle Teresa Nowicki, 89, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008 at her residence.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Nowicki.

     A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin she graduated from Marquette University School of Nursing.  Estelle served in the U.S. Army in New Caledonia during WWII and later retired from teaching in the nursing program at Asheville Buncombe Technical College.

     She is survived by daughters: Lynn Beck of Columbus, GA and Jody Criscuolo and her husband, Ben of Wallingford, CT; granddaughters: Melissa and Erin Beck, Brooke and Ashley Thornton.

     A funeral mass will be held 10:30AM, Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Arden, NC.  Burial will be at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.

     In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Josephat’s Basilica Foundation, 620 W. Lincoln Avenue, Milwaukee, WI  53215.
