Edward Neil Treverton, 58, of Asheville died Saturday, July 26, 2008 due to complications resulting from a bicycle accident. A native of Wrangell, Alaska he was son of the late Edward C. and Harriet Ellis Heath Treverton.
A graduate of Lee H. Edward High School, he received a B.S. in Geology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. “Trev” was known for his massive book business and collection. He had a passion for hiking and biking and had planned to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru in September with his sister and friends.
He is survived by his sister, Amy Treverton Binderim of Asheville; nieces, Heath Nichols and her husband, Gary, of Gallatin, TN, Kelly Binderim and her husband, Gavan, of Asheville, Rebecca Fosiner and her husband, Rick of Houston, TX and two great nephews, Bryce Graham and Wyatt Nichols.
Private services will be held.
Trev was loved by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.
