Marie McCann, 84, of Waddell Street, died Sunday, June 29, 2008, in the John F. Keever Solace Center.  A native of Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Kearney Flood.

     She is survived by her husband, Edward McCann, of Weaverville; daughters:  Eileen Wyatt and her husband, Scott of Waynesville and Theresa Piwowar and her husband, Michael, of Asheville; four grandchildren:  Raymond Roberts, Kristopher Wyatt, Sarah & Matthew Piwowar. 

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at St. Eugene’s Catholic Church, Asheville, NC with Father Dean Cesa officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
