Asheville- Carol Barth-Blatt, 53, died on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Campus.  She was a native of Charleston, West Virginia and a long time residence of Asheville.  Carol was an ornithology, and she loved her gardens.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Blatt, a local businessman, two sons; Elliot and Jared Blatt all of Asheville, a brother; Andrew Barth of Tallahassee, FL, a sister; Pam Lyle of Atlanta, GA and a stepmother, Marlene Barth also of Atlanta, GA.

A private service will be held at a later date.
