Nancy Barbara Pae, age 87, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Deerfield Retirement Community.
Nancy was born September 15, 1920 in Akron Ohio. Nancy and her sister, Marie Horgan (now deceased) were the only children of Russell and Kathryn Winch. Nancy’s husband, Robert D. Pae, preceded her in death on September 21, 2003.
For many years Nancy was the administrative assistant to the president of Clevite/Gould Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio. She and her husband, Robert, were long time members of the Acacia Country Club in Cleveland, Ohio, and later moved to Hendersonville, North Carolina where they became members of the Hendersonville Country Club. Nancy and Robert Pae spent much of their time playing golf and traveling.
Nancy is survived by two nephews, Patrick Horgan and Timothy Horgan, and four great nephews, Matthew, Michael, Timothy and Patrick.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th at 2:00 P.M. at St. Giles Chapel, Deerfield, Asheville, NC. with Rev. Morgan Gardner presiding.
