Jay E. Greene, 62, of 75 Haywood Street died March 17, 2008.  He was a native of Stuttgart, Arkansas and the son of Joyce Etheridge Greene, of Columbus, GA., and the late Smith Dalton Greene.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired construction worker.  He is survived by his mother and two sons, Jay E. Greene, Jr. of Marion, Arkansas, and John W. Greene of Greenville, Mississippi, two daughters, Cheyenne Greene and Dallas Greene both of Hendersonville, NC. , two sisters, Carol Gliemmo, of Columbus, GA. and Susan Greene of Apalachicola, FL., one brother Michael Greene, of Greensboro, NC. and was predeceased by two brothers, Johnny and Tommy Greene.
