Gus Morris, Jr. - Fourth Generation Funeral Director and Manager of Morris Funeral Home, Arden Chapel
Since 1985 Gus has managed the Funeral Operations and Administrative branches of Morris Funeral Home. His commitment to professional services to families is always compassionate and gentle. His special skills include working with families, providing support, direction and resources. "I always serve families the way I would like my family to be served," is his philosophy. "Give more than is expected." Gus is a native of Asheville. He graduated from Asheville High School in 1978 and was a psychology major at UNC Asheville. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Asheville and a former member of the Rotary Club of Asheville. He has three children, Lindsey, Seth, and Aaron. In May of 2005, Gus became a grandfather for the first time to grandson, Olivier.
Steven E. Hundley - Funeral Director/Embalmer
Steven Hundley comes to Morris Funeral Home from Western Pennsylvania. He graduated with honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1994 with a B.S. degree in Communications Media. After several years of working in radio in Charlotte, NC, Steven returned to Pennsylvania to pursue a new career in the funeral industry. He is certified and registered through the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards and has obtained his North Carolina licenses in both funeral directing and embalming. Making sure that the families' loved ones at Morris Funeral Home are prepared and handled with the utmost respect and dignity is a responsibility that he takes very seriously and with great pride. In his spare time, Steven enjoys outdoor activities like skydiving, rafting, and hiking. He has also played the guitar for over twenty years and has performed throughout the southeast with a professional variety band.

Plumie "Pat" Hall - Housekeeping
The member with the longest tenure of the Morris Funeral Home staff, Pat has been working with this family since 1968. As the caretaker of the precious antiques and furnishings at the facilities, she is responsible for keeping the building beautiful. Often, Pat will be found caring for the staff, making sure we have the TLC needed to continue to care for the families we serve. Pat was married to Gilbert Hall for over 45 years before his death in July of 2002. She and Gilbert raised five children and they have fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
