Our History
Montessori Children’s House (M.C.H.) became part of the vision in the growth of Miami Lakes, and was established in 1971. The goal was to offer a different choice of schools to families, with the opportunity for an affordable quality education for their children.
The Montessori Method (philosophy) was recognized as another way for children to grow through hands-on tactical experiences. In 1985 the new school was constructed in the present location. Eventually, MCH became known as Montessori Christian Center (MCC), a school with God in it, and is under the ownership and direction of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thibodeau. Give God The Glory!!!
Paul and Charlene Thibodeau received their Montessori training under the direction of Beverly McGhee, of the Alexander Training Institute in Miami, and are Graduates from Life Christian University, with master's degrees in Theology and Christian Education. They studied under the direct supervision of Drs. Daniel and Eve Gualtieri.
