Music Lessons

Modern Music World is pleased to have the following instructors on our team:

David Morse

INSTRUCTOR NAME: David Morse
INSTRUMENT: GUITAR: BASS

Dave Morse received his first instrument at 10 years old and he hasn't looked back since. From playing in the Jazz Band throughout high school to studying music education at Western Carolina University, music has been the driving force in his life for 20 years. Mr. Morse approaches teaching with a different style, one that encourages the student to embrace their own musical style and skill level. He believes that music is an expression of a person’s soul and takes pride in helping others find that. Concentrating mainly on the styles of blues and rock, Mr. Morse can teach you not only how to play your guitar but also how to enjoy playing your guitar.

Lucian Rowland

INSTRUCTOR: Lucian Rowland
INSTRUMENT: GUITAR/MANDOLIN/BANJO/BASS

Growing up on the north shore of Long Island, NY, Lucian’s earliest musical memories trace back to tapping out notes on his family’s old upright piano or banging out rhythms on pots and pans. By the age of eight he could be heard beating on a full sized Ludwig set. Earning a classical guitar scholarship to the University of Northern Colorado, Lucian enhanced his musical expression under the guidance of maestro Stephen Waechter (who studied with Andres Segovia).

While continuing to explore a variety of other styles and genres on his ever growing family of stringed instruments (acoustic and electric guitars, banjos, mandolins, lap slide, and bass) He continues to connect and collaborate as he shares his love of music.
