Miller
Grading Co., Inc., has been in business since 1970. Wendell Miller,
Sr., the president and founder of the company, is directly involved
in the day-to-day business affairs.
The
company employs a fifty-plus-member work force and maintains over
sixty pieces of equipment. We are located within thirty minutes
of Atlanta.

Georgia Utility Contractors Association as well as The National

The
projects we have undertaken have ranged from clearing one to one
thousand acres of dense
woodland and from two hundred thousand cubic yards material of export
to two million cubic yards of on-site cut and fill. We are especially
proud of our contribution to the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games
with the site development of The Georgia International Horse
Park and the Cherokee Run Golf Course.
We have
a large bonding capacity and currently carry seven million dollars
of coverage on our general liability and completed company operations
insurance.
Safety
is of the utmost importance to Miller Grading Co., Inc. All project
superintendents have been certified as Competent Persons in areas
dealing with Confined Spaces, Site Supervisor Safety Management,
OSHA's Excavation Standard, CPR, First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens.
Miller
Grading Co., Inc. is a Certified Utility Contractor licensed
by the State of Georgia. Our project manager has been certified
in Asbestos Abatement Project Supervision. All of our superintendents
are certified in the NPDES requirements of erosion and sedimentation
control.
