Associate Attorneys

Ronald J. Favre

Ronald J. FavreRonald J. Favre was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He attended St. Stanislaus High School in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, McDonogh High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, and graduated from Bay St. Louis High School in Mississippi. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corp. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Southern Mississippi and received his J.D. from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1973. He is a charter graduate of the National College of Criminal Defense Attorneys at the University of Houston, Texas.

He entered private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1973, and in 1978 was appointed Deputy City Attorney for the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, representing the New Orleans Police Department, New Orleans Coroner's office, and was supervising attorney for New Orleans Municipal Courts and Traffic Courts. In 1979, he became the supervising attorney for the Civil Litigation Division of the City Attorney's Office.

He joined the law firm of Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, in 1991 and is the Senior Litigation Attorney, and Class Action Coordinator for the firm.

John B. Noble

John B. NobleJohn B. Noble is a life-long resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Jesuit High School, received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University, and obtained his law degree from Loyola University School of Law in 1984. Mr. Noble is also licensed to practice law in the State of Mississippi.

Bryan A. Pfleeger

Bryan A. PfleegerBryan A. Pfleeger, BS, MS, JD, a New Orleans native, graduated from Jesuit High School in 1983. He attended Tulane University and graduated with a BS in Biology in 1987. He attended Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge in the engineering graduate school and obtained an MS in Environmental Engineering with an emphasis on environmental remediation and policy. He graduated from Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1995 with a JD, and is an author of An Analysis of Federal and State Regulations Concerning the Disposal of Produced Waters From the Oil and Gas Industries (1991, LSU).

Mr. Pfleeger was an associate with the Baton Rouge firm of Barnes and Greenfield where he practiced administrative and family law from 1995-2000. In 2000 he limited his practice to personal injury and has been with Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, since 2002. Mr. Pfleeger is a past member of both the American Chemical Society and the American Nuclear Society. He has served on the boards of several civic organizations and is a member of multiple carnival organizations.

Austin McElroy

Austin McElroyAustin McElroy graduated from Spring Hill College, Mobile, Alabama, in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He graduated from the Tulane University School of Law, New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1967 with a Juris Doctor. After graduation from law school he served 2 years in the U.S. Army with the Military Police and Staff Judge Advocate's Office. He was admitted into practice in New York in 1968 and Louisiana in 1979. He has practiced in both jurisdictions. For the last 20 years his practice has been exclusively in the field of personal injury.

Colby Wenck

Colby WenckMr. Wenck was born and raised in New Orleans. He graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University where he was Vice President of the student body and a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor and Service Society. He earned his Juris Doctor in 1999 and began his legal career by completing a Judicial Clerkship for the 34th Judicial District Court. In addition to his years practicing personal injury law, he also has experience in domestic in law. Mr. Wenck has successfully represented hundreds of clients in personal injury law involving automobile accidents, medical malpractice, and unsafe premises. Mr. Wenck is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and is licensed to practice before all state courts in Louisiana.

Paralegals

Candace Borne

Candace BorneCandace Borne is the Senior Paralegal/Manager in the Covington office. She is married and is mother of six children and resides in Tangipohoa Parish. She was born in Galveston, Texas. She is a Graduate of Fayetteville Technical College and earned an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies in Fayetteville North Carolina in 1999 earning a 3.87 GPA. She is a Certified Paralegal with 6 years experience. She has been employed with Michael Hingle & Associates for 5 ½ years and was the Top Fee Production Paralegal for the year 2005. She has earned several awards with Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC. She worked diligently with Mr. Hingle that brought settlement of the first $2.2 million dollar case.

Shelly McNamara

Shelly McNamaraShelly McNamara is a 26 year old New Orleans native. She graduated from Cabrini High School in 1998 Magna Cum Laude. She enrolled at the University of New Orleans and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor in General Studies. Shelly obtained her paralegal certificate from the University of New Orleans in 2003.

Shelly has been employed by Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, since 2002. She is a paralegal and our class action coordinator working out of our Slidell office.

Krista N. Alquist

Krista N. AlquistOriginally from Picayune, Mississippi, Krista and her husband reside with their three children in Slidell, Louisiana. Krista has been working for Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, in the Slidell office for more than five years. Although Krista has held several positions with this firm, she finally achieved her most satisfying position as a paralegal. Krista gets a great sense of gratification helping people receive fair compensation for their injuries. After a hard day at the office, Krista likes to unwind by working in her garden and spending quality time with her husband and children.

Heidi Boudra Pellegrin

Heidi Boudra Pellegrin Heidi Boudra Pellegrin, senior paralegal in the Slidell office, has been with Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, since 1984. Born in Huntsville, Alabama, her family moved to the Slidell area where her father was employed with NASA as an engineer. She graduated with honors from Slidell High and attended Southeastern University in Business Administration. She later obtained her real estate salesperson's license while working at a local real estate company. After joining the Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC,team in the real estate department in 1984, she obtained her Notary Commission.

Over the twenty one years she has been associated with the firm, and during the expansion of the firm from one office to ten, Ms. Pellegrin has had training in many aspects of civil law, although the firm has now long been restricted to personal injury practice. She has served dual roles in administration and litigation as the firm has grown, but is now able to devote herself full time as a litigation paralegal to Mr. Hingle. She enjoys the constant challenge this dynamic company presents, and her empathetic nature makes it natural for her to establish a rapport with the firm's clients.

Ms. Pellegrin has a teenage daughter, Megan, who attends Slidell High and keeps her mother running. But when not working and mothering, she unwinds by caring for and riding paso fino horses at her small farm near Slidell, or finds downtime in a sunny, sandy locale.

Christina Richard

Christina Richard Christina Richard joined the firm in September 2003. Ms. Richard attended both Nicholls State University and Baton Rouge College of Paralegal Studies obtaining Associate of Science degrees in Legal Assistant Studies and Paralegal Studies.

Ms. Richard is currently assigned to the firm's Hammond, LA office.

Shelly Alexander

Shelly Alexander Shelly Alexander works in the capacity of Paralegal for Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC. Shelly began working with Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, in October, 1999. Shelly has over 18 years combined experience in risk management, safety and loss prevention, personal injury, general liability, auto liability and workers compensation.

Celia W. Estis

Celia W. Estis Celia W. Estis has been a paralegal with the firm for 14 years and has been with the firm for a total of 16 years. Ms. Estis was an honor graduate from Moss Point High School in Moss Point, Mississippi, where she is from originally.

Ms. Estis has lived in Slidell, Louisiana, for the most part of 30 years. She joined the firm as a bookkeeper in 1988 and left the area for a short time when her husband was transferred out of town. When she returned she began training as a paralegal with Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, and is now the head paralegal and the office manager for the New Orleans office of Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, where she has been since 1992. She handles files of all varieties of monetary value but specializes in heavy litigation cases. She has been, and plans to be again, a Top Fee Producer with the Firm as well as Staff Person of the Year. She has received multiple special recognitions for handling files which have brought in over one million dollars in fees for a particular year as well as recognition for many other high fee producing files.

Celia enjoys working with people who have been injured and need help in gaining compensation for the hardship, pain and suffering they have had to endure because of accidents that were not their fault.

Administration

Edmond C. Gazave

Edmond C. Gazave Edmond C. Gazave was born in New Orleans and has resided in Slidell, Louisiana, since 1957. He is a graduate of Slidell High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Mr. Gazave has held positions in both the private and public accounting sectors, and brings many years of experience in the areas of Accounting, Computer Systems Administration, and Administrative Management to his current position with Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC.

Mr. Gazave is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and has been employed with Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, since 2002.

Lee Fandal

Lee Fandal Lee Fandal, Financial Officer, has been with the firm for sixteen years. Lee graduated Southeastern Louisiana University in Microbiology, and although she has deviated from the field, she finds the experience of working with Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, both challenging and rewarding. In her time away from the office Lee enjoys designing formal dresses and sewing.

Betty Parham

Betty Parham Betty Parham resided in New Orleans, Louisiana, until her relocation to Slidell, Louisiana, in 1977. She has 32 years legal experience working for attorneys in both New Orleans and Slidell. In 2002, Ms. Parham became an employee of Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, first as a paralegal and then became the Personal Assistant to Michael Hingle. She is the mother of one daughter and two grandchildren. Ms. Parham and her daughter, Pepper Parham Nunez, have written a novel, Some Memories Don't Fade, which is scheduled for publication towards the end of 2006.

Mike Hingle, III

Mike Hingle, III Mike Hingle, III has been lead investigator for the firm for over 6 years, and has been employed with Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, for almost 9 years.

As a graduate of Holy Savior Central Menard High School in Alexandria, Louisiana, he also received a BS in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech in Ruston.

Mike lives in Franklinton, Louisiana, and is married with two children. When not at work he enjoys all outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and children.

Jennifer Fremin

Jennifer Fremin Jennifer Ann Fremin, was born and raised in St. Tammany Parish, where she graduated from Mandeville High School in 1992. Jennifer has been working for Michael Hingle & Associates, LLC, for three years. Jennifer enjoys working out of the Covington office with a great group of people.
