The Hollingsworth House

The Hollingsworth House is a privately owned and operated public events facility, located in the heart of Fayetteville’s historic downtown. Built in 1906 as a wedding gift to Waymon B. and Irene Felker Hollingsworth from Irene’s father, this 4,200 square foot home, has 12-foot ceilings, crystal chandeliers, hardwood floors, beautifully furnished rooms in period antiques, fully-equipped kitchen and a wide verandah. The house also features a grand staircase with beautifully carved mahogany and oak mantles, and stained glass windows reflecting the family’s monogram.

 

Seating 125 for a reception or 275 cocktail style, this home is a perfect place to have all of your lavish functions, large or small. For larger events, additional space can be provided using outdoor tents, picturesque gazebo, or front porch settings. For weddings, the upstairs has rooms reserved especially for the bride and her party to dress and get ready.
