Michael B. McDermott was born in Paterson, New Jersey, in 1954. He was admitted to the Florida State Bar and U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in 1986. Michael received his B.A. from Florida Atlantic University in 1979 and his J.D. from Washburn University of Topeka in 1985. He is an active member of the Volusia County Bar Association, Florida Bar, Criminal Defense Section of the Florida Bar and the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. Practice areas include bankruptcy, criminal defense, criminal appeals, marital and family, personal injury and wrongful death.
Michele A. Lucas was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She was admitted to the Florida State Bar in 1987 and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in 1988. Michele received her B.A. from State University of New York in 1983 and her J.D. from Capital University in 1986. She is an active member of the Florida Bar, Volusia County Bar, Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Areas of practice include marital and family law, estate planning, wills, and criminal appeals.
