Lowell L. McCauley, M.D., P.C. is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Our practice provides a full range of health care for women related to all aspects of obstetric and gynecologic medicine. We make a special effort to provide you with all necessary information and we explain everything to you regarding your conditions, illness, treatments, and medications.
Our goal is to provide quality care to you in a prompt and efficient manner. You can help us achieve our goal by checking in at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This time will be used to verify your insurance, verify your photo ID and complete any necessary paper work such as questionnaires.
We encourage you to ask questions regarding your pregnancy during your routine scheduled visits. If you have urgent questions between visits, please call. Phone calls are typically returned at the end of scheduled patient visits/office hours the same day or the following morning before office hours begin. We do not practice medicine over the phone. If you are having a problem or need any prescriptions, you will need to make an appointment so that you can be examined and necessary care rendered.
If you have an emergency during office hours, please call the office and we will advise you. If you have an emergency after office hours, the answering services will forward your call to the on-call health care provider. Urgent calls are returned promptly, so please keep your phone line open and remove any caller blocks that you have in effect. All non-emergency calls should be placed during regular business hours.
