Is vision correction safe and does it hurt?
With LASIK a thin flap is created in the outer cornea. The flap is then lifted allowing the laser to sculpt the middle layers of the cornea. The flap is repositioned by the surgeon and seals itself into position without the need for stitches.

No it does not hurt. There is no pain during the vision correction procedure. We will numb your eyes with drops alone and give you some medication to help you relax.
