Little Bears Preschool at 6975 U.S. 70 in Bartlett has started a new charitable service project called called "Hearts of Sharing". Mrs. Cindy, owner and director of Little Bears, had the beautiful stuffed bears made just for the project.
In honor of Brianna Rainey, a student at Little Bears, who was diagnosed with cancer. Mrs. Cindy is calling the bears "Brianna Bears". When one of the bears is purchased for $10.00, the buyer receives one bear for himself and a second bear is donated to one of three organizations: The Bartlett Police Department, the Bartlett Fire Department, or St. Jude. The buyer chooses which organization for the donation. The bears are used by each of these organizations to comfort frightened or sick children.

Through the purchases of "Brianna Bears" Little Bears Preschool was able to donate over 69 bears to the Bartlett Police Department, 20 to the Bartlett Fire Department, and delivered many to St. Jude as well.
The bears will always be a reminder to the generous gift givers of a wonderful little girl named Brianna, who later lost her battle to cancer. The staff and students have placed a memorial flower garden in front of Little Bears in her memory.
