You will automatically get Medicare after you have received social security disability benefits for two years.

If your income is over $25,000 for a single person or $32,000 total income and you file a joint return you will have to pay Federal taxes.

Will my Social Security Disability benefits change when I reach full retirement age?
Nothing will change but instead of Social Security benefits they will be called retirement benefits
