PLASTIC SURGERY OF THE NOSE AND FACE
Rhinoplasty is the operation designed to improve the appearance of the nose. Reduction in nasal size, removal of a hump, improvement of a drooping tip or wide bridge, and changes in the tip or nostrils are some of the anatomical alterations that can bring pleasing improvements in facial harmony. We strive to tailor your nose to fit your face and achieve a natural-looking nose, rather than the "one-fits-all" or "assembly-line" appearance.

Chin Augmentation
When a chin is too small for the face, augmentation can often produce dramatic improvements in facial harmony. Mentoplasty, the procedure used to shape or mold the chin, is performed to improve a receding or weak chin.

Otoplasty is the procedure designed to reposition or set back protruding ears. Following this surgical correction, the visual, and psychological improvement may be dramatic and is usually rewarding for the patient, family and surgeon. We strive to obtain a natural-looking result by using a suture-repositioning technique, rather than a cartilage cutting technique.

Facelift is the procedure designed to improve sagging jowls and neck tissue. Other procedures are often performed in addition to face lifting such as forehead lifts, eyelid surgery, and rhinoplasty, etc.
A facelift will not remove asymmetries, wrinkles, or stop the aging process.

DayLift
The DayLift is a new, innovative procedure that may remove 10 or more years from your appearance during a single, one-hour procedure, with minimal time from your normal activities. DayLift is a true lift that supports the skin, connective tissue, and muscles instead of only tightening the facial skin. Often performed under local anesthesia, the DayLift provides natural-appearing results with less bruising and swelling than more extensive procedures. Although the results can sometimes be dramatic, the DayLift cannot produce the results of a more extensive facelift. It cannot remove asymmetries, wrinkles, or stop the aging process.
Dr. Langsdon developed the DayLift for the patient who might not need or might not want a full-lower facelift. It takes about one hour, and most patients return to light activities much sooner than with a full-lower facelift.

Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is the procedure that removes excess fat and skin from the upper and or lower eyelids. Upper lid surgery is usually performed at the same time as the lower lid surgery, but either may be done as an isolated procedure. This surgery provides a rested and refreshed appearance.
Eyelid surgery will not remove asymmetries, wrinkles, or stop the aging process. Also, it will not raise eyebrows unless a brow or forehead lift is performed.

Eye Brow Lift
The eyebrow lift is designed to improve dropping eyebrows and achieve a more rested and youthful appearance. Drooping eyebrows can contribute to an aged appearance; the eyes seem smaller or more deeply set or they may appear tired or look angry all the time. The eyebrow lift can gently lift the brow to a position that is more pleasing and relieve the "aged look." We strive to obtain a natural look, rather than a surprised appearance. A brow lift will not remove asymmetries, wrinkles, or stop the aging process.

Neck Lift
As people age, there is tendency for fat to be deposited and the skin to lose its elasticity until a "double chin" develops. If a small accumulation of fat is present, the neck may be improved by fat removal alone. However, sometimes this procedure may be combined with a facelift or neck lift in order to lift saggy skin.

Facial Resurfacing
Surgery is planned to improve sags and bulges, but will not remove wrinkles. Skin resurfacing is used to improve wrinkles. Resurfacing may also improve patchy pigmentation of the facial skin and dark circles under the eyes (if caused by dark pigments in the skin). Skin resurfacing can produce dramatic improvement in the texture of your facial skin. It may be the best treatment to help the surgeon achieve fresher, more youthful looking skin. Resurfacing procedures include laser, intense pulse light, chemical peeling, and dermabrasion.
