How to Clean Your Wood Floor

Cleaning Directions

Use any spray cleaner specifying for hardwood floors

Sweep or vacuum before cleaning wood floors to remove any loose dirt.  Spray small area with cleaner and wipe off with terry cloth or micro-fiber covered mop.  Do not soak the floor. Allow to air dry. No rising required.

General Maintenance

Vacuum or use an untreated dust mop of your floor regularly. This will keep the sand and grit off the floor that may cause premature wear. Place rugs, which are cleaned on a regular basis, in entryways and in front of sink areas, to minimize the amount of dirt and water that comes in contact with your wood floor. Use felt pads under chairs or furniture that is moved frequntly.  Wipe up food and other spills immediately with a dampened cloth or paper towel. Regular cleaning should be done with a cleaner specified for hardwood floors.
