We had a special snack for the School Age children to celebrate April Fools Day, they really seemed to enjoy it.  so we thought we would share the recipe with you.

"Grilled Cheese Sandwich"                                                                                      1 Unsliced Pound Cake,   you slice as if it where slices of bread. Then brown in a toaster oven, we used a griddle.                                                                        1 can white icing, tinted orange using yellow and red food coloring.  Spead onto  the cooled cake,  flatten down so some of the icing squeeze out, to look like melted cheese. 

Week of The Young Child is being celebrated April 7-11 this year.  We have alot of fun events planned for your children in the preschool building.  There is even a picnic lunch planned for Wednesday with parents, please se your child's classroom door to sign up.  The School-Age children due to time factors will participate in one special event on Wednesday as well. We will be making frozen yogurt sundaes.  

Our new playground equipment is going in on April 10-12.  It is a wonderful piece that is age appropriate to 3-12 year olds.  So our school age children will have a chance to go up and use it as well.  We know the children will have fun seeing it go up, as they really have enjoyed watching Mr. Steve take down the old one.

Spring Break is April 14-18, please turn in your needs form by April 4, so that we can plan staffing and food.  We will be going  on a field trip to the "Pinnacle" on Wednesday, as well as having an "Inflatable Obstacle Course" and "Sno-Cone Machine" on Friday the 18th.  This is also our Easter Party day, please see your child's classroom door for sign ups, this is for both buildings. 

Graduation pictures will be taken on Friday April 25th.  Please have your     Pre-K  (5 year old) here and in their classroom by 9:00. This way we can get them ready to have their picture taken in their cap and gown.

Please remember that all  children infant through preschool need to have an extra change of clothing here at all times. 

Also, please send your child in appropriate clothing to play outside daily. They need fresh air and our codes require that all children from infantcy to school age go out twice a day.  Parents whose children can not go out need to bring a Doctor's statement for their child's file.
