James L. Farrior III
Attorney James Lovett Farrior III was born in Vallejo, CA, in 1962. He speaks English and French fluently. He received his Batchelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1984 at the Hattiesburg, MS, campus. He attended the University of Mississippi’s School of Law, an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school located in Jackson, MS and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree from there.
He has proven himself to be skilled and has found success in state and federal appeals in both civil and criminal matters. He is an experienced trial attorney and is licensed in all of the Mississippi Federal and State Courts and has successfully conducted numerous jury trials.
He was admitted to the Mississippi State Bar Association in 1987 and is licensed in all Mississippi state and federal courts. Shortly thereafter, in 1988, he was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.
He is the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for top score in the study of Constitution Law and Contracts. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, and Mississippi Federal Courts.
