James H. Bennett Jr.
James H. Bennett Sr.
started working at IMF in 1983. After starting with IMF he attended
Memphis State University, where he studied Mechanical Engineering.
James has worked in all aspects of the company in his nineteen
years with IMF. In 1995, he took over the day-to-day operations
of the shop while filling the Shop Foreman's position. In 1999,
James took over as President and General Manager and has
continued the traditions of quality and service IMF has come
to be known for.

James H. Bennett Sr. founded IMF in 1981 and served as CEO/CFO.
Jim started his machining career working for Combustion Engineering Nuclear Division, located in Chattanooga, TN. Jim worked for CE for
fourteen years. While working for CE, Jim learned the commitment
to quality and safety that he uses to run IMF today. After leaving
CE, Jim went to work with TVA at Heartsfield Nuclear Power Plant
during the construction phase. In 1976 Jim moved to Memphis,
TN., where he founded Industrial Machine & Fabrication, Inc.
